He has a strong fatherly instinct and falls easily for the 'lost puppy' act, often giving money to strangers and inadvertently letting himself be tricked and manipulated. √ HONEST; Speaking his true thoughts and feelings aloud has never been an issue for Lucas. The fighter tends to keep to himself, but is nonetheless straight-forward with anyone he meets, including his family and friends. While it's clear that not everyone appreciates being called out by a stranger, there is no denying that the man's unfailing truthfulness is rather virtuous. √ BRAVE; In the face of danger, Lucas is not one to back down. He's good at making the tough calls and doing what no one else wants to. It seems his fortitude is unfailing so long as he believes that he is working for the greater good, justice being a strong factor in his actions. Even when his comrades are joking around and brushing things off, he maintains a stoic persona and won't hesitate to threaten them into staying on track. He's a no-nonsense kind of guy, and does his job diligently. x SHORT-TEMPERED; Angering Lucas is a fairly easy task. He may be more mature than most men in their twenties, but he is by no means any less-susceptible to the vanities of the ego. The man is easily insulted, and if his already short fuse is allowed to run out, he won't hesitate to explode in a tirade of flustered rage. Sometimes, it gets to the point where he can't even form proper words, merely sputtering incoherent profanities. x SUPERSTITIOUS; The police officer is incredibly gullible. While normally he seems a rational, sensible man, when it comes to black magic and old legends, he can be incredibly antsy. He will throw away an umbrella that's been opened indoors and even refuses to get a pet cat "because it might have black kittens". x STUBBORN; Convincing Lucas to give up is like a porcupine trying to inflate balloons— basically, a really f*cking bad idea. Although Lucas will back down if he understands that he's the one at fault, so long as he believes he has the advantage and is in the right, he will fight tooth and claw to maintain the upper-hand. He is also incredibly difficult to persuade, as he has a very deep-set value system and can be narrow-minded at times. x IMMATURE; Lucas may seem the composed one in a firefight, but outside of work he can be quite the petty individual. He has his pride, but will stoop to whatever tactics necessary if he really wants to get back at someone. He's also a bit clumsy, and is thus easily embarrassed. x PROUD; A very straight-laced individual, Lucas takes great pride in his profession and appearance and is incredibly difficult to break down. He has an arrogant side that often comes to light in conflicts and won't hesitate to get over-confident in an argument, especially if he feels like he's winning. organization

He couldn’t play outside and always had to wear sunglasses, thus he was often made fun of by the other boys at school. His dad lacked the patience to mind the restless, high-maintenance child, and thus the distance between father and son started at a young age. It wasn’t until his two sisters and little brother were born that he was finally allowed some space. His mother let her attentions drift towards the younger children, and Lucas started finding his own way. Despite being quite popular at school, he spent much of his time with his siblings, who were more understanding of his complications and always accepted the affections he doled out. On his 19th birthday, he married his high school sweetheart, but the two were only wed a year before her true partner showed up. She and her fighter fell madly in love, and Lucas had no choice but to let her go. His second marriage was to a woman he met while training in the police force. They had a peaceful, modest union built more around the mutual desire for children and companionship than love, but when their daughter Emmaline was born, the couple couldn’t be happier. For three years, they were a normal, beautiful family, until tragedy struck in the form of a sleepy driver and a slippery road. They were walking home from the fair at night, his tired daughter draped across his back, when the car barreled down on them. He awoke in the hospital, but his little girl did not. The marriage crumbled soon after. Lucas fell back on his training, and as a result has been stuck with the same casework he was assigned as a rookie; hunting down Troy Windsbrooke, a notorious con. Because of his busy new life with his family, he had grown distant from his siblings, but after losing his daughter, he was desperate for that companionship, and so he sought to mend that bond, becoming quite close with his little brother Rory Glass. Even so, it was not quite enough. Lucas longed for something more, and so his last and most recent marriage was to a woman as opinionated and strong-willed as himself. Perhaps this was where much of the fault lay. Lucas occupied the holes in his life with his job, and his wife soon came to love other men that were not her husband. By the time he learned of her affairs, the union was too far gone to salvage. They divorced after only 3 months.
