Julia is an incredibly extroverted and very friendly kind of woman -- and, in her mind, if you talk with her without irritating her in the slightest, you are already her friend. She keeps a rather large circle about her, though it is incredibly debatable if any one of these people that she claims are so close to her actually think of her in the same light. Though Julia is selfish as a default, she is usually a little too giving to those who she considers close to her. All one has to do to have a pass to her purse is to agree to her shaking, excited hand of friendship. She is aware that she is, perhaps, a mite too open with people -- and that she suffers for this, as there are not many that she would consider anything more than "a friend." There are not many that she can actually spill her secrets to or ask for help (not that she would ever do that to someone she considers a "friend" -- she hates asking for favors, or gaining pity in any way), and it can make things a little rough! Easy to persuade into much. Bit of a party girl. Makes a lot of friends who are just "drinking buddies" or girls experimenting with their sexualities. Julia doesn't tend to make many enemies. Sure, people might upset her or irritate her, but she's not really a melodramatic sort. There is a difference between not wanting to willingly go up to someone to spark up conversation and wanting them dead, after all! And to be quite frank she would never even dream of wishing the ultimate loss of choice upon anyone -- even to those useless to society! As a strict objectivist, Julia does take issue with many kinds of people in society -- the lazy, the people who allow the lazy to exist, people who depend on the government for handouts, socialists, those who like big government, people who rely on feelings rather than reason, people with no direction in their life, and those who mock her majesty, the late great AYN RAND. To be fair though, she is a little bit of a hypocrite in most of these regards (a major failing, really!), so she allows a bit of slack as long does not mock her for her philosophy. Or mock her philosophy. Or take a gentle jab at her philosophy. Or call Mrs. Rand's writing style sophomoric. Really, it's just best to stay off the issue if you're looking to not cause fights. An atheist of a militant and exceptionally angry variety, Julia does not respond well to those with religion -- or even bringing it up in a casual way. Any mention of the word "God" (beyond a metaphysical sense) is enough to raise her hackles. She finds herself in staunch debate over such principles on a daily basis, and does not respect those who look upon any higher power than Man and his own ingenuity. While all mentioned above are things that Julia, depending on the other party involved, can learn to accept and deal with in a friend, she has one strict exception. Julia is a staunch feminist, and does not deal with people making shitty judgments on people because of their sex. One would be advised to take cover if they planned on saying such things -- her barrage of social justice might just bring the death of you. The most likely candidate for a real enemy of hers would be an catholic socialist misogynist -- anything less and the best one can expect is rivalry or base contempt. Let's be clear: Julia sleeps around. Though she would never admit this -- as she always makes the choice to consent in a logical frame of mind, and therefore it is not something she should ever regret, she just wishes that it would lead her to what she wants by this point -- that is, a sexually-compatible, committed relationship with another woman. She enjoys sex and chooses to have it with as many people as she can get to agree as well, but in reality she honestly does want something that she has not expressed very well. As such, she is liable to have any number of flings with however many women might ask. While she is still in some stage of denial about her sexuality, she is totally unwilling to even kiss a man. A complete and total hopeless romantic, though she tries to hide it if she thinks that the other party does not want someone like that. Would not admit this, but she would do anything for a romantic partner -- no matter how great the favor is. Tends to take partners off for long trips and woo them with gifts and the like if she can determine that it won't be seen as too clingy. While she is no altruist, she makes a special exception for the girls she considers lovers, and will bend over backwards in an effort to please. Very affectionate and not ashamed to show it. Has no interest in being closeted in public -- but she'll lay of of PDA if she's asked. Anything for her partner! She tends to favor intelligence in long-term partners, and someone who can handle their own in philosophical debates. While she does tend to fuck first and get to know later, she is very considerate of other people's limits, and doesn't tend to press issues (though, she will admit that she does tend to look for it elsewhere if they are not explicitly committed -- sex is really important to her and she tries to not let it sit). Very open to any kind of relationship -- flings, long-term whatever. Tends to have no (outward) qualm with helping pretty girls get over bicuriosity. It's a mutual exchange of goods, after all!
